Actor Sam Neill has been writing screenplays for nearly 50 years in an era fueled by Hollywood blockbusters such as The Hunt for Red October and Jurassic Park.

 But he doesn’t like staying in Hollywood because he gets annoyed.

The actor lives in a well-known farm and winery in the  Otago region of Central New Zealand.

“I went to Hollywood with my family  and stayed for maybe two years. But I didn’t like living there.

I love working there and enjoy everything about the film industry there. I have  many friends there.

But that’s not  where I want to live,” says Neil. why? “My real home is my farm in New Zealand.

There I have the best rest and I produce wine there. I have  all my lovely animals, we grow our own fruits and vegetables.

The 74-year-old continued, “The thing that bothered me about Hollywood was that people only cared about show business

In fact, after completing his project in Pipeline, the Jurassic World Dominion actor will be taking a break from acting and working on his memoir.

I don’t know if anyone will be interested in it, but it’s definitely there for my grandchildren,” he concludes.
