Model Kate Moss, who  dated actor Johnny Depp in the 1990s,  revealed why she supported him in a recent defamation trial with his ex-wife and actress Amber Heard.

In her new interview, Kate also talked about  her past support of her boyfriend, fashion designer John Galliano, who was convicted of anti-Semitic abuse in 2011.

In early May, Kate ran for a defamation battle between Johnny and Amber Heard.

Johnny’s lawyer summoned Kate as a  witness to the counter-argument after Amber  testified about when her ex-husband was afraid to go down the stairs with her sister.

Amber  said she remembered the “rumors” that Johnny pushed Kate down the stairs and hit him so as not to harm her sister.

I know  John Galliano is not a bad guy-he has drinking problems and people turn their backs.

He never kicked me off the stairs. I know that. I had to tell the truth, “Kate told the BBC radio  show Desert Island Discs, Deadline reported.

Kate, who dated Johnny from 1994 to 1998, testified that she slipped down the stairs and injured her back while the couple was on vacation in Jamaica.

They gave Johnny $ 15 million in damages, but Amber was ordered to pay $ 10.35 million under Virginia law limiting punitive damages.

According to Deadline, in a Fairfax County filing, Johnny  appealed a $ 2 million defamation award presented to Amber in her trial by a Virginia jury.
