David Harbour shares his thought on whether famous Hawkins police chief Jim Hopper should stay for the upcoming Stranger Things season 5.

Stranger Things has since become one of Netflix’s most popular shows since 2016 when it was launched.

Recently David Harbour considers whether Stranger Things season 5 should keep the beloved character, Jim Hopper, or not.

Stranger Things recently completed its fourth season including its volume 2, smashing viewership records, and is anticipated to unleash its fifth and final season in the upcoming years.

The series is created by the Duffer Brothers, the series tells the story of a group of kids in the town of Hawkins, Indiana, who find themselves capable of fighting with a series of demons from another dimension.

David Harbour’s character Jim Hopper was introduced in the first season itself and from the very beginning, he has made a special place in the audience’s heart.

Even after passing at the end of season 3, Hopper yields in Stranger Things season 4, albeit interred at a Soviet prison camp, through the maker’s smart moves.

However, it shortly looks like the personality may die again, Jim Hopper makes it through the season uninjured and ultimately ends up back in Hawkins with Eleven  in the Stranger Things season 4 volume 2.

David Harbour recalls his character Jim Hopper’s journey so far and considers whether he thinks the precious cop should live or die in the upcoming season.

David Harbour admits that, while he initially felt like Jim Hopper should die and was quite happy also with the character’s end in season 3.
