SOME FAMOUS DOCUMENTARIES OF PRANJAL
Pranajal tries to portray the true colors of society in front of his audience. For this same thing, he is appreciated and at the same time being criticized. Pranjal has worked in several Bollywood movies but he is having expertise in making Documentaries. These documentaries are available on several digital platforms. Here we are gonna take a look at some of his marvelous documentaries.
In one of his documentaries Zindagi Ek Lamha, which is based on the story of older people, those who are compelled to live in old age homes. Pranjal has shown that when a child is born then their parents are there to take a look at them. But when parents become older, some children send them to old age homes. In old age homes, they are not having anyone who can look up to them. They have to live alone and do their needful things on their own. Apart from this, these old people do not vote bank for the country. So the government is not taking needful steps for them. Many people didn’t understand the context of this documentary. Many thought that Pranjal is trying to portray the wrong message about the children. But Pranjal intended to show that these people are living their life in old age homes very happily. They are not dependent on others. They just want to enjoy every moment they are having because they are also not aware whether they will wake up the next morning or not.
Bachpan is the best work of Pranjal to date. The story starts with a small poor boy living with his mother who wakes up at 4 AM. His day starts with selling newspapers and milk. After that, he comes back home and makes breakfast for himself and his mother. He then adjusts his old and dirty clothes and makes himself ready to go to school. On contrary, we see a rich boy sleeping in AC and whose mother wakes him up at 8 AM and gives her breakfast and clothes, and makes him ready to go to school. Both this child sits on the same seat in the school. Both of them are gaining the same knowledge from the same teacher. But the society in which we live always makes a difference between the rich ones and poor ones.
His documentary, on Patna city, was critically acclaimed and was appreciated by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Most people are having a wrong perception of Patna city. The main intention of Pranjal behind making this documentary was to visualize a clear image of Patna in front of the world. His idea is to reach out to the people who migrated from Patna, to show them how beautiful Patna city is. He wants them to remember their birthplace and they should stay grounded and these people should become the Brand Ambassador of Patna so that the clear image of Patna can be shown to the entire world.
In Ummede he has asked a very important question from the Government of this country. Even after the 73+ Years of Independence, whenever any Politician asks for a vote on the name of Roads, Water, Electricity. He asks what is the clear-cut meaning of development. If we provide roads, water & electricity, then can we call ourselves developed? Our society and country will be developed only when a family living in one house will be able to get a quality education and can get jobs/works without depending on the government. People in this country are facing various problems. Everyone is having some expectations from the government. and till the time government is not able to fix these expectations and problems we cannot call ourselves developed.
In his documentary StreeMurty, he has beautifully shown how a sculpture artist makes the Murti of Maa Durga. When the artist designs the hand of Maa Durga, he tells her that ” Maa you are having a Sword in your hand so that you can destroy the evil present in the society. But when someone who use to beat their wife, daughter, or mother visits you, please bless him and forgive him.” When he makes the design of her eyes he says her “Maa this society is not good. There is poverty, corruption, starvation, present in this society. But when I complete the design of your eyes you please not look at those. With your eyes, you should see the good things that are surrounded you. And you bless the people who are responsible for these problems”. He also adds that many people will visit you for taking the blessing. Please advise them to respect the women’s presence in society as they are respecting you. Because they are the real DEVI of this country. If they can’t respect her then their worship stands for nothing.
Do Or Don’t Their Is No Word Called TRY
We have heard many people saying that, if you want to be successful then you need to think out of the box. But Pranjal is not that attracted to this philosophy. He thinks that if we search for something out of the box then the things that are visible from our naked eye and thing that are happening in front of us may be lost. If you want to know the true colors of society, if you want to do something positive, if you want to get success, then you should start from the things that are visible around you. The real story starts around you.
MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF LIFE IS EDUCATION
Pranjal accepts that education is a higher priority than food, clothing, and a home in our lives, so he provides free education to many young people and children to contribute to developing a good society and making the nation proud with their knowledge and skills. Apart from that, Pranjal teaches disadvantaged children and financially and physically helps them and invests a portion of his earnings on their education because he feels that education is possible if even one child in your household can read. He needs to teach media to children so that future generations can understand how films are made, how animation works, and how we can use it to create a stronger society. Education in the country is becoming exceedingly costly, and it is fair to say that it has now become a company. Recently Film Director Pranjal’s 3 research has been published on an international platform for which he has also been honored,
One of the most critical projects on which he is currently working is on Immersive Technologies. He will be offering Augmented reality[AR], Virtual reality [VR], MIXED REALITY[MR] to Bihar free of cost. It will get started at Nalanda University.
