Model Chrissy Teigen and singer and husband John Legend announced they were expecting another child almost two years after announcing their miscarriage. She shared a photo.She also wrote a long note for her fans.
Chrissy and John Legend met on the set of her one of his music videos before getting married in 2013. They have her two children, Luna (age 6) and Miles (age 4). In the photo she shared to announce her pregnancy, Chrissy wore a black crop top and knickers. He captioned the post, saying, “The last few years have been mixed emotions to say the least, but joy filled our homes and hearts once again…”
She continued: “After a billion injections (in my leg recently, as you can see!), I plan to have another one. At each appointment, I say, ‘Okay, I’m healthy today.’ I’ll make an announcement when it’s available,” but with a sigh of relief and listening to my heartbeat, I decided I was still too nervous. I think so, but right now everything is perfect and beautiful, and I feel hopeful and wonderful. Alright, whew, it was very hard to hold this back for so long!”
In October 2020, Chrissy posted on several of her media outlets sharing her experience of losing her third baby with John. Her baby died at 20 weeks after suffering pregnancy complications. Earlier this year, Chrissy announced that she was undergoing fertility treatments.
