The Adam Project marks Ryan Reynolds’ latest coordinated effort with Netflix, with the two having first banded together for Michael Bay’s 6 Underground. The streamer and entertainer most as of late cooperated for the action parody Red Notice, which was a basic underwhelmer yet a smash ratings hit for Netflix, becoming the stage’s most-watched original movie within a month of its debut, surpassing previous record holder Bird Box. This success prompted Netflix ordering two sequels with Johnson, Gadot and Reynolds all normal to get back with essayist/chief Rawson Marshall Thurber and planning to film one after the other.
Early reactions to The Adam Project as of late started rolling out, praising Reynolds’ sci-fi experience for its enthusiastic stomach punches and the nostalgic energy of its sci-fi story. The movie is one of many high-profile projects Netflix has not too far off, with the Super Bowl promotion also offering exciting new looks at the Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans-starring action-thriller The Gray Man from Avengers directors Joe and Anthony Russo and Jason Momoa’s odd fantasy character in Slumberland. Audiences can anticipate the streaming stage continuing to extend their original movie roster with the premieres of Fistful of Vengeance on February 17 and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot on February 18.
