This is just the latest in a long queue of looks at the Batgirl set, however perhaps some of the clearest photos that have been taken thus far. Earlier set photos have uncovered everything from Barbara’s red hair to her Batsuit’s goggles. Be that as it may, now, the DCEU film has started recording activity scenes and it seems Barbara is somewhat worse for wear because of it. Ideally, these bruises are just word related hazards and she’ll live to battle another day. While Batgirl will probably embrace a lighter tone than Snyder’s entries into the DCEU, these set photos demonstrate it may highlight somewhat more realistic brutality than previously assumed.
With these Batgirl set photos causing ripple effects on the web, it remains a mystery why Warner Bros. what’s more DC chose to send the film straight to HBO Max as a streaming exclusive. This is especially perplexing when another DC film like Blue Beetle, a superhero without almost as much name acknowledgment as Batgirl, is being created as a dramatic venture. For now, Batgirl is expected for a release on HBO Max sometime this year.
The latest glance at the Batgirl set comes courtesy of John Devlin, who captured Leslie Grace surrounded by the team in the middle of takes.
