Illumination has dropped the latest trailer for Sing 2 that shows off considerably a greater amount of the massive presentation put on by Matthew McConaughey’s Buster Moon. The sequel to 2016’s Sing has been bound to happen after the first film was a hit in the cinematic world. After a couple of delays, the studio is gearing up to release Garth Jennings’ sequel on the underestimated energized film with perfect timing for Christmas and releasing teaser trailers to reacquaint viewers with the old characters and introduce them to new faces.
Presently, Illumination has now released the final trailer for Sing 2, which shows the inside and out readiness Buster and his group from New Moon Theater go through to get ready for their biggest show yet at the Crystal Tower Theater in the illustrious Redshore City. The new trailer for Sing 2 is a feast for the eyes and the ears, as the vivid teaser is soundtracked by Dua Lipa’s “Levitating.” The sequel film will include songs that span genres, from artists such as Drake, Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, BTS, and some more. The trailer also features a gander at Halsey’s wolf character Porsha, a rookie prepared to steal the spotlight, and her various talents. That includes a short second where she sings “Young lady On Fire” by Alicia Keys.
As for the star-studded vocal cast of Sing 2, McConaughey is rejoined by Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Tori Kelly and Nick Kroll. A couple of new characters, played by Pharrell Williams, Eric Andre, Letitia Wright, and more are also in play. Of course, the reclusive lion Clay Calloway (voiced by Bono of U2) is seen as Buster and the pack attempt to persuade him out of retirement to be a part of the huge show. Sing 2’s December 22 release date is the ideal family-accommodating method for celebrating the holidays, and it’s sure to be another film that will have audiences grooving in their seats.
