The second official trailer of House of Gucci shows Lady Gaga taking control of the Gucci family empire. After her starring job in her film debut A Star Is Born, the Oscar-winning singer and actress will portray Italian socialite Patrizia Reggiani, who was convicted of arranging the murder of her ex, Maurizio Gucci, played by Adam Driver. The wrongdoing biopic is based on the Sara Gary Forden book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamor, and Greed and will revolve around the 1995 murder of the Italian head of the fashion house and the resulting aftermath. Coordinated by Ridley Scott, the film will also star Jared Leto, Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons, and Salma Hayek.

The story of the murder of Maurizio Gucci and Reggiani’s trial got massive media coverage because of their force in the fashion industry, and that will most likely carry on to the film when it debuts. With an established director like Scott behind the camera and a plethora of Oscar-nominated celebrities, the anticipated film will probably have a large audience and could turn into an awards contender, especially with the performances. House of Gucci will release on November 24 in theaters, prior to becoming available to stream on Paramount+.
