Zach Galifianakis cannot erase his involvement with The Hangover franchise, so he jokes that he’s told his kids he’s a librarian and not an actor. The 2009 parody, The Hangover, was a massive achievement, grossing more than $467 million worldwide in the cinematic world and earning near universal praise from pundits. The film would proceed to spawn two continuations, The Hangover Part II and The Hangover Part III, which largely adhered to the original film’s format.
Speaking to ET, Galifianakis shares that he’s taken up a creative solution to keep his small kids in the dark about his job in the R-rated satire. He says that his two sons have no idea what he actually accomplishes for a living. In fact, the comedian jokes, “My kids think I’m a librarian some place. Galifianakis jokes, “they shall never know about it.” However, once his kids reach an acceptable age, the actor will “get to that point” of showing them the films. However, as he points out it’s “interesting” and the kids need to “mature a smidgen” before they see the movies.
While it makes sense Galifianakis is a little apprehensive about showing his small kids The Hangover films, it’s hilarious to think his kids accept he’s a librarian and not an actor. Galifianakis has starred in various huge spending plan Hollywood motion pictures, as well as appeared in various TV shows and specials.
