Kristen Stewart’s Princess Diana and others get character posters for Pablo Larrain’s Spencer. Larrain recently cast Natalie Portman in Jackie, his biopic on former First Lady Jackie Kennedy, a job for which Portman got a Best Actress Oscar nomination. Larrain now trusts lightning strikes again as he’s cast Stewart to play Diana, another renowned lady who became reviled by her own notoriety
Indeed Stewart has been garnering early Oscar buzz for her depiction of Diana in Larrain’s latest biopic. With the movie’s release coming next month, Neon has dropped a few Spencer character posters, including one for Stewart’s Diana. See the dramatic pictures in the space underneath:
Additionally featured in the picture drop are Jack Farthing as Prince Charles, Timothy Spall as Equerry Major Gregory, Sally Hawkins as Maggie the Royal Dresser and Sean Harris as Chef Darren. Obviously the star is Stewart, who has effectively gotten probably the best surveys of her vocation as Spencer gets out and about of the film festival circuit. Obviously Stewart is interestingly able to play a lady who finds popularity burdensome as she encountered that herself after Twilight made her vocation explode. Nowadays, Stewart appears to be disinterested in appearing in such blockbusters as she centers around more intimate admission like Spencer.
The synopsis for Spencer peruses as follows: “The marriage of Princess Diana and Prince Charles has since a long time ago developed virus.
