Joe Brown was not the brightest mind in high school. He always felt like he was not good at anything before until his first day of work. After realizing that he wanted to do entrepreneurship for the rest of his life, he knew that college would be the way to get there. As soon as Brown started college, everything changed, and now it seems like nothing can stop him from achieving his goals.
Brown learned new skills and techniques that would be helpful for him to succeed in business in the years to come. When no one else believed in his potential to build a successful business, it was his father who always had his back. Hailing from the sales and marketing industry, he wanted to see his son do well in business. Brown reckons that this belief was the most significant motivational factor that allowed him to give his best from all the things he learned from his father.
Brown’s father died when he was just six months away from completing his graduation. This event became a driving force in his life. With a solid motivation to uphold his father’s legacy and prove to the world that his father’s trust in him would be in vain, Brown founded DearDoc.
Brown initially created the software for his grandfather, a dermatologist, to help him with his patients. While working on the website’s structure, Brown soon realized that the idea could become something bigger. He evolved the concept, giving it an AI platform that allowed virtual consultancy with doctors worldwide.
Despite not being brilliant at school, Brown is running a business that has revolutionized technology in the medical field. The primary factor behind his success was his dedication to prove himself. Brown believes that change is fundamental. To grow, he needed to evolve from what he already was. Inculcating new skills and expanding one’s knowledge is the only secret to success.
