Disney has reported that Black Widow made more than $60M through Disney+ Premier Access during its initial weekend. The film is the first movie from Marvel Studios to be released since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, serving as a history for Scarlett Johansson’s person and the start of the theatrical side of Phase 4. It is also the first component film section in the MCU to open simultaneously in theaters and on the Disney+ streaming stage.
Black Widow appeared at the highest point of the movies in the wake of opening on Friday. Disney reported that its $215M gross was comprised of $80M at the domestic film industry, $78M from the worldwide film industry, and more than $60M from worldwide Disney+ sales. The news makes the latest movie in the MCU the highest-grossing film since the COVID-19 pandemic started in mid 2020.
