In the world of barbecue, nobody’s won more adulation than Hattem Mattar in the Middle-East. And he comes by it honestly: Hattem learned BBQ in his backyard and then went on to Texas to expand his skills.
After gaining enough experience in the smokehouses around Bastrop and Elgin Texas, Hattem returned home to create something altogether on his own. He grew up to expand his business, ‘Mattar Farms’.
The Mattar Farm’s experience goes beyond grilled and smoked meats, which includes Smoked brisket, Smoked Chicken, Smoked duck, Smoked Lamb Leg, Smoked beef ribs, & Smoked turkey.
Barbecuing is just a blend of science and art. Moreover, there are tons of techniques and skills that need to be learned, but it’s with these skills that you will create amazing dishes that will impress everyone. However, being in the kitchen is all about creating new ideas and taking risks. A pitmaster must always be willing to try something new. Moreover, the creativity inspires a food’s taste and presentation, which is also hugely important to the overall dining experience. And this creativity needs to be passionate and everlasting, just like what Hattem Mattar offers.
