Viola Davis affirms Jared Leto really gave Margot Robbie a rat on the arrangement of Suicide Squad. Leto made film history when he assumed control over the job of Joker for 2016’s Suicide Squad. Yet, the ultimate decision of fans and pundits was that Leto whiffed in his interpretation of the job recently played by any semblance of Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger.
Five years after the original Suicide Squad added to the legend of Method actor Leto while disappointing DC funnies fans, James Gunn is taking the supervillain team back to evaluates for The Suicide Squad. Leto isn’t back for the development yet Robbie is, and so too is Davis, playing Task Force X leader Amanda Waller. Speaking to Vogue about the Suicide Squad do-over, Davis for the last time affirmed that Leto did in fact give Robbie a rat on the main film, however the details of her adaptation contrast somewhat from the legend. Davis says the cast was assembled for a rehearsal when Leto revealed he was about to “prank” Robbie by handing her a case containing a rat. Be that as it may, Robbie didn’t react exactly the way one may anticipate. Davis recalls:
“I was saying uproariously, ‘Don’t open the crate!’ I was halfway out the entryway when she opened the box…and saw the greatest black rat you could imagine. Then… she cooed at it. No fear. Open. Open. Overflowing with happiness.”
It’s certainly great to hear that Robbie wasn’t traumatized by Leto’s blessing to her, obviously that doesn’t necessarily allow Leto to off the snare. Undoubtedly, in today’s current circumstance of intimacy coaches and chiefs carrying out “no a—openings” arrangements, on-set behavior is being policed like never before previously. It’s really nothing unexpected then that Leto keeps on denying the rat story, as he certainly doesn’t want to have a reputation for being an issue. Either way, Leto isn’t back for the Suicide Squad spin-off, however Robbie and Davis are. There are no rats in the film, however there is a giant weasel, that thankfully is CGI.
