Mickey Rourke and Jennifer Carpenter have been cast in the supernatural blood and gore movie named She’s Still Here. Rourke, best known for his work in the films The Pope of Greenwich Village, Rumble Fish, and The Wrestler, has also showed up in a threesome of thrillers. The entertainer previously starred in 1987’s Angel Heart, 1987’s Dead in Tombstone, and 2019’s Nightmare Cinema. He’s been a mainstay of film for almost 50 years, and can play a job to its highest heights when presented with the right material. Rourke’s stood out as truly newsworthy as of late by reprimanding Marvel’s Iron Man 2, something he’s been vocal about for some time.
As indicated by Deadline, Rourke and Carpenter have signed on to star in She’s Still Here, which will be coordinated by twins Anthony and James Gaudioso. Creation is set to start this fall. Look at a plot synopsis from Deadline in the space underneath:
She’s Still Here tells the story of a desperate widower who is being tortured by the wrathful spirit of his deceased spouse. Exasperated, he enlists the helper of his ghost-chasing nephew to unravel the unpleasant’s importance and carry harmony to his household.
The plot of the supernatural thrill ride She’s Still Here will almost certainly whet the hunger of fans of the two actors, who are notable for immersing themselves profoundly into their portrayals of whatever roles they take on. Rourke, who is slated to join the cast of Peacock’s MacGruber with Sam Elliott and Laurence Fishburne, will show a clouded side in the forthcoming thrill ride. Yet, as in his previous films, he will probably pepper that with boyish playfulness, similar to the cheerful, mischievous fallen angel film fans have generally expected. Craftsman will bring him rational as the object of his wrath, a dead spouse who wants nothing other than to get under his skin.
