Thank You! Happy to chat with you guys! I have a unique job that isn’t commonly known. I am a VIP Host in Las Vegas and I literally have the best job anyone could ask for. Pretty much, people pay me to arrange their Las Vegas trip. I set all their reservations and arrangements to the best parties in my city to show them a true Vegas experience. It can be tough to find a contact for everywhere you want to go, but its good to know the person that has all the contacts to arrange your trip. And that’s where I come in.
Staff: When did you decided that you wanted to be the VIP Host ?
Nabu: It was unexpected. I started throwing college parties as a way to pay for my tuition and I was really good at it. I built a large database at a young age throwing events for students, athletes, clubs, organizations and even professors! when I turned 21, I had nightclubs have interest in me because I had a following always asking “where is nabu” going tonight? When I saw the opportunity of a career in nightlife, I knew I had to be involved.
Staff: What are the main things that you have to manage in your job of a VIP Host?
Nabu: One main thing I have to manage is communication with clients in order to arrange what they want out of Vegas and to quickly make those plans happen. I have to be available at all times and hours because people make wild requests and Vegas is literally open 24 hours.
Staff: What are the challenges that you mainly face being a VIP Host?
Nabu: The main challenge is to make sure my clients spending thousands of dollars on bottle service have an awesome night. To be in this industry you have to make it a lifestyle. Weekends, Holidays and special events are all dedicated to work only. Managing time to work dayclubs and nightclubs seven days a week can be exhausting, so dedicating to a strict schedule is something I had to learn
Staff: What are your plans of expansion or I should say what are your major goals that you’ve set right now for future ??
Nabu: I want to host my clients around the world to the biggest events. I want to extend my services to not only to be in Vegas but internationally to major festivals, nightclubs and major special events .
Staff: If you weren’t the VIP HOST what would’ve been your possible job today?
Nabu: When I was about to graduate university I was actually hit a major life decision where I was offered a different career. I was offered to be a director of marketing for a popular food-chain company and presented to matched the pay I was already making in nightlife at that time. I almost took that offer, but I already worked hard to build my company and saw a big future with opportunities. I am glad of the decision to continue in nightlife because if I didn’t, I probably would have been in a boring corporate job overseeing sales!
Staff: How the Instagram or Facebook or Social Media has Helped you in your journey as a VIP Host?
Nabu: Social Media has kept my guests wanting more of Vegas and of my services. I always post about my everyday nightlife adventures and of cool things happening in my city. it’ll remind my following of the good times they had with me as well as see what’s new to experience when they come back. Because of that, my clients keep coming for more!
Staff: What advice you would give to our young readers who wants to follow the same passion as you ??
Nabu: Network! And not just social networking through apps. Everyone you meet is an important connection. You never know what these friendships can lead to because it truly is about who you know
