Music Artist, Veronica Cooper & horticulture specialist, Alexea Davis-Mitchell have announced the launch of a new company GldnChldBeauty, “a nail care line for professionals and their customers.” The company was created to break the boundaries in the beauty industry by being a black-owned and women-owned business. “In a world where many have fought for their right to be heard and seen. We believe every shade of beauty should be represented whenever the opportunity presents itself. Diversity is one of the key factors needed to help break down barriers to help us as a society grow. ” quoted from the mission statement from their website.
January 2020 – Alexea Davis-Mitchell, cousin of Veronica Cooper, was contemplating what to do after graduating with her masters degree in Horticulture at North Carolina A&T State University. Veronica mentioned how the beauty world was a great industry for her knowledge to thrive in. A few months later – during a pandemic – Veronica traveled across the country from Los Angeles to Cleveland to get a better insight into the nail care world and received a state board nail tech license and 6 months later GlndChldBeauty was founded. The company has been in a soft launch phase for several months now focusing on the sale of press-on nails which has been gaining in popularity over the past year; possibly due to covid restrictions to nail salons.

February 5th will be the official launch of the company’s nail product line which is stated to include acrylic, monomer, nail art, & cuticle oils. Headquartered in Las Vegas, NV with a process office in Greensboro, North Carolina & Atlanta, Ga; this company is developing and expanding. They are shipping worldwide and offer same-day delivery for their products in Atlanta, Ga with plans to expand this service to other cities. It is rumored GldnChldBeauty is also working on a nail polish addition to their product line to be launched at a later date.
The company strives to continue its research to help create products that are less harmful than those already used on the market. G.C.B. wants to reduce the nail salon smells we have gotten accustomed to. This could help lead to less migraines and skin irritations in products. GldChldBeauty products are for professionals to use while also offering products for their customers to be able to use safely at home.
