This talented rap artist has impressed all with his craft which has found many takers across the region.
We have seen a few music artists who have climbed up the ladder of success, staying focused and aiming to be the best amongst the lot. These few talented individuals have always tried to improve their craft with time and have never failed to impress the audiences. There has been a exponential rise in the music scene around the world and places like Middle East have also embraced world music giving rise to many artists who specialise in different genres of western music. The growing popularity has seen a steady rise of music artists holding command over distinct styles like rap for instance which has become a global favourite once restricted to only a specific country. Many international artists have gone ahead and established themselves in places different from their countries of origin and we have one such name who has carved his own distinct niche around the rap space in the Middle East, he is Jamaican rapper Fahda Romie, born as Jerome Downes, who is today counted amongst the most promising rappers across the Middle East.
His journey towards being a successful rap artist has not been easy as he had to go through the grind to prove himself facing a lot of hard times and challenges. Starting off as a waiter in Dubai when he landed here just to sustain himself, he kept honing his skills till the time he was ready to take the plunge. Knowing that there was much more to do he strived hard to achieve the impossible. He felt deeply connected with music and in a bid to grasp it to its roots, started writing lyrics and showcasing his talent. Soon after he was noticed by a producer who gave him the first break. He wrote his first in 2017, which never saw the light of the day till 2019. His first track “Journey” was liked but eventually lost gloss making him realise that much more needs to be pumped in to achieve that glorious career he always desired. Things changed for good when he created the song “Recommend”, which received tremendous response and was further mixed by his music producer friend Chad. The outcome impressed Romie till no end and he shortly released it across major music streaming platforms, and that was it, he had finally arrived in the music sphere with that.
What followed were a series of collaborations with Rastarocket and Dj Ranger, resulting the creation of multiple tracks. Today, he works with Codelank, a talented Jamaican producer who has helped the young rap artist reach towering heights of success around the music space. Having recorded multiple tracks he is on the verge to rule the rap music scene in a big way.
