Sandesh Lamsal is a Nepalese doctor, influencer, model, social worker, sportsman and volunteer born on August 17, 1994, in Dang district of Nepal. He is currently trending on social media because of his amazing contents and social works. Media started to feature him from the young age of 20 for his contributions to the bilateral relationship between Nepal and Russia. Sandesh is contributing to the promotion of Nepal, Nepali culture and tradition from 2015 onwards as The Representative of Nepal in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region Russia. As an honour of this, he was interviewed by the popular Russian Diplomatic Journal in 2016. On 2016 he was quite active on organizing charity programs to raise the fund for the restoration of a school destroyed by the earthquake in late 2015 in Nepal. Similarly, he contributed on FIFA Confederation Cup 2017 and FIFA World Cup 2018 as a Medical Volunteer foe which he was awarded medal and certificates from the Russian Government and FIFA organizer team. He is also serving on UN as United Nation Online Volunteer from 2014 to till now.
Not only this, Sandesh is a professional sportsman with II Dan black belt from Kukkiwon, World Taekwondo. While talking about sports career he got I Dan black belt certification in 2014 and II Dan black belt certification in 2018. Sandesh has participated on local and national tournaments in Russia and Nepal. He is planning to give III Dan exam in 2021 after finishing his studies.
Similarly, Sandesh entered in social media on 2018 and started to create contents actively advocating the gender equality, respect to the LGBTQ+ community, health, sports, beauty tips, comedy, entertainment, acting, motivation, education and lifestyle. Sandesh has collaborated with a lot of popular Indian social media influencers and the videos created by him have been appreciated and shared by many Bollywood stars. His accounts have been verified on different social media platforms including Helo, Likee, Amazon, Google, etc. and he has more than 100K followers on Instagram. Sandesh ranked 7th on The Top 10 lifestyle influencers in St. Petersburg in 2020 by Heepsy.com.
Sandesh says, “people think that being popular on the internet is easy, but they forget that a lot of responsibilities comes along with the name and fame. We are always on the eyes of people and media which often create difficulties to live our life normally. Some fans are so obsessed with their idols that they follow everything that the particular idol do and a single mistake done by the social media celebrities can have a very adverse effect on the public. So, we have to think twice before doing any activities on the internet.” When asked about hateful comments and roasts that a lot of people do, Sandesh says, “Well, I haven’t faced any such incidences till now, but some fans send very disturbing contents for example nudes on DM, which is very embarrassing. I directly block them and try to stay away from such people.”
Sandesh is planning to come back and work on the field of social work, entertainment and medicine. When asked about his future plan, he stated that he wants to open a shelter home for the orphans, old aged and disabled people and provide them with food, shelter, cloth and education. According to the sources, Sandesh is soon making his first debut on entertainment industry from a music video.
